I'm hoping the funeral was more of a celebration for you all and I know what you mean about extended family, my hubby has been in the family 28 years and still gets confused!

Loving the photo of your and your sisters, I'm assuming it will end up on a scrapbook page at some point.

The hawthorn trees have been really full of flowers this year and really filled the air with their heavy scent, they remind me of childhood as our house used to have a hawthorn hedge to one side.

The flowers are beautiful, we've been out venturing this week to places far and new, I'll be sharing the photos next week me thinks!

I hope you've had a great week

Hugs
Virginiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12170383814636792641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6221525381099754303.post-18543631421038206982018-05-27T17:28:31.146+02:002018-05-27T17:28:31.146+02:00Hi Kate I hope your new kitchen progresses well th...Hi Kate I hope your new kitchen progresses well this, I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures.
I am always amazed at how beautiful your photos make our humble area of common land look.
jean xxJeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05183311386760352838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6221525381099754303.post-174202320431283262018-05-26T16:23:19.436+02:002018-05-26T16:23:19.436+02:00Never mind, better late than never. You have been ...Never mind, better late than never. You have been extremely busy. What6 a week/fortnight!
It's great to see all y0ou sister together. That mustbe a rare occasion. I can't believe your sister (bottom right) will be 90! Ninety must be the new seventy!
It is a delight to look at all the flowers you have shown. English as well as Spanish. That prickly pear is beautiful. I have never seen one that colour.
It is very exciting to get a new kitchen. It will be bigger too. You won't know yourself. In the meantime it is cooking in 'camping' mode. Heyho, it will soon be over.
I'm hosting the ex-pat Bible study group this afternoon. They will be here in 20 min. And we are having a bring and share tea/supper afterwards. Then tomorrow morning early we will be leaving on our road trip. (Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark). We will be away for a month as we will take it easy.
Bye for now,
Have a good week,
Hugs,
LiscaLiscahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06055538730629891703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6221525381099754303.post-35061105346821708582018-05-26T14:59:50.203+02:002018-05-26T14:59:50.203+02:00Hi Kate. It’s a lovely photo of you with your sisters....quite an achievement to have accumulated all those years together. Love the photo of your Spanish flowers as always....thanks for sharing them.
Hugs,
Annie xAnniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12564678114875826791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6221525381099754303.post-85717874386697785412018-05-26T10:32:31.522+02:002018-05-26T10:32:31.522+02:00What a busy week or two you had Kate - your photos...What a busy week or two you had Kate - your photos of England look lovely - my husbands family came from Corfe Castle (a couple of generations ago) and there is now a Corfe Castle Lane in Levin (N.Z.) named after the town.
Great to see your landscape blooming, and to hear you have had successful choir concerts.
Blessings
Maxinekiwimeskreationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03001838083285721377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6221525381099754303.post-65677959740592108282018-05-26T09:21:25.443+02:002018-05-26T09:21:25.443+02:00You may be late, but I fear I am later, dear Kate....You may be late, but I fear I am later, dear Kate. Sorry to read about your brother-in-law, but all the photos were beautiful. I especially loved the photo of the beach and ocean.

I also thought Brenda's feeding the birds each day was noble, since they are often forgotten once spring arrives.

I hope your kitchen gets back in order as fast as it became a pile of rubble. I look forward to seeing updates.

Lots of beautiful flowers to smile about this week, too. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.Bleubeard and Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10149710375520733752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6221525381099754303.post-18351499261286627022018-05-26T04:32:26.519+02:002018-05-26T04:32:26.519+02:00So good to hear you arrived back home safe.
