January in photos

My word. Another week has flown by and here we are one week into February and I realised that I haven't yet shown you my first page of photos for the 365+1 challenge. In case any of you are wondering what I am talking about, this is a fun challenge to take (at least) one photo every day and put them in a file so that at the end of the year you have a pictorial record of how you spent your time. I did start doing a second one as well for a blog where the owner gives a word prompt each day and you have to take a photo that goes with the word. But I found this more of a chore than fun, and I was manufacturing artificial situations just so that I could match the word. So instead, I am keeping a list of her words, and when I see something that matches one of them I will slot a picture of it in, but it won't be on the correct day. However, my own collection was relatively easy to do, and it has the added bonus of helping me to understand the settings on my new camera, and to get to grips with Adobe photoshop for editing them and slotting them into a photo board.
So after all that rambling, here is my page for January.
You should get a larger view by clicking on the image.
I shall be filing these monthly pages in a scrapbook and on the opposite pages I will do a brief list of what they represent, as I will likely have forgotten in twelve months time.

I may be back later with a post about my weekend, though I have several other projects demanding my time tonight as well.
